Civic Concepts International is proud to inaugurate its 1st Global Citizenship Award, a cross-disciplinary challenge for student activists and visionary young leaders. 

CCI dedicates this Award to multiculturalism and diversity, in memory of Czech student activists who inspired and led resistance against Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia on November 17th, 1939, later proclaimed as the International Students Day. 

The laureate(s) of the Global Citizenship Award will be recognized with a full scholarship to attend the 21st International Youth Leadership Conference in Prague, Czech Republic on January 6th-11th, 2011.
